Progressive Hockey Development (PHD)PHD is a synthetic ice training facility dedicated to the skill development of all hockey players. The facility, located at 22135 Davis Drive, Suites #107-109, Sterling, Va 20164, includes the following features directed at making fundamental hockey skill development fun, interesting, and effective: * A Large, 40' x 40' Main Rink * A Top Shot Interactive Net for Shooting Accuracy * A Stationary Stick handling Area with Digital Image Changers * A Second Rink for Shooting, Passing, Stick-Handling, & Skating Drills * An 80' Skating Lane * An Off-Ice Training Area with Weights, Slide Board, Boxes, Medicine Balls, & More * A Parents' Lounge Area: Cable TV & Free WiFi * A Pro Shop PHD has everything you need for hockey skill development! Training can be done as a private session or in small groups of three. Luke DeLorenzo instructs the players at PHD. His impressive resume includes 4 years of varsity hockey on Penn State's D-I ACHA Hockey team, where he was an All-American and an Academic All-American. DeLo also holds the Penn State record for goals and points by a freshman. Twice DeLorenzo was selected to Team USA for the World University Games, which were held in Torino, Italy and Harbin, China. Prior to Penn State, Delo played Junior A hockey in the North American League with the Cleveland Barons. Luke played minor hockey in the Pittsburgh, PA area, where he played for both the Amateur Penguins and Pittsburgh Hornets AAA programs. An amazing stick-handler, accurate shooter, and top-notch strength coach, PHD is proud to have DeLo as part fo the instructional team! |
